1. Scope

This policy describes how AB Imperial ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit our website or use the AB Imperial platform (the "Service"). The Service is intended for business users; we do not knowingly collect information from consumers in their personal capacity.

2. What we collect

• Account information — company name, contact name, email address, billing details, plan and seat assignments.
• Usage information — queries run on the platform (for example VIN lookups), lookup counts for billing, login events, IP addresses and timestamps.
• Client-uploaded data — files you upload for batch valuations or portfolio monitoring (vehicle identifiers, portfolio structures).
• Correspondence — emails you send to our sales, support or info addresses.

Our website does not use analytics cookies, advertising trackers or third-party scripts.

3. How we use information

• Providing the Service: running queries, generating reports, enforcing plan limits.
• Billing and account administration: invoicing, payment reconciliation, seat management.
• Security and abuse prevention: authentication logging, rate limiting, audit trails.
• Communication: responding to inquiries, service notices, material changes to terms.

4. What we do not do

We do not sell or rent client information. We do not share client-uploaded data with data sources or other clients. We do not use client query patterns to train products for other clients or for advertising.

5. Vehicle data

Records returned by the Service concern vehicles (VINs, auction events, sale results), not natural persons. Where a source record incidentally contains personal information (for example a seller name on a title document), we pass it through only as part of the licensed record and expect clients to handle it under applicable law.

6. Sharing

We disclose information only to: service providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations (hosting, email delivery, payment processing); authorities where required by law; and a successor entity in a merger or acquisition, with notice.

7. Retention

Account and billing records are retained for the life of the subscription plus the period required by tax and commercial law. Query logs are retained for 24 months for billing and audit purposes. Client-uploaded files are deleted 90 days after the related deliverable is produced, unless your agreement states otherwise.

8. Security

Access to the platform is authenticated per user. Traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Administrative access is restricted to authorized staff and logged. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we maintain and review controls appropriate to the data we hold.

9. Your choices

Account holders may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their account information by writing to [email protected]. Deletion requests are subject to legal retention requirements.

10. Changes

We may update this policy with notice posted on this page and, for material changes, by email to account contacts. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
